Nancy Mohn Barnard
Nancy Mohn Barnard has lived in the Crestview neighborhood since 2007 and has been an active community member ever since. She has been on the Crestview Neighborhood Association Board for 4 years and has planned an array of neighborhood events including ice cream socials, volunteer appreciation dinners, retirement parties and Oktoberfests. In addition, she works with Violet Crown Community Works, a local non-profit, and chairs the annual Violet Crown Festival.
Kristine Poland grew up in Austin and has lived in her home in Brentwood for 15 years. Through Brentwood Neighborhood Association, Violet Crown Community Works, and Friends of Brentwood Park, she is active in initiatives to improve quality of life in the neighborhood including her current work to broaden the user demographic of Brentwood Park. Kristine enjoys serving as Violet Crown Fest Music Coordinator and organizing community-building events such as Oktoberfest.
Bradley Linscomb has lived in Brentwood since 2009. Bradley is currently serving as President of Violet Crown Community Works, a 501(c)(3) building and sustaining community in the Brentwood and Crestview neighborhoods.
In 2011, Candace and her family moved to Baja Brentwood from South Austin. She has been a volunteer at Brentwood Elementary for the past five years where three of her four children attend. She updates our website, social media, and jumps in to help plan events.
Rachel Copperman has lived in the Brentwood neighborhood since 2013. She has served on the Brentwood Neighborhood Association Steering Committee since 2016 and currently chairs the Parks Committee and Transportation Committee. She has three young children and is excited to have an updated playground that the family can bike to for many years to come.
Melissa Considine moved into her home in Crestview in 2002. She is has spent many hours at the Brentwood playground with her three children. They all attend Brentwood Elementary where she is a member of the CAC.
